My way to Python

About 5 years ago, while surfing on the Internet, I came across an article about the launch of the online course «Unmanned Vehichles» - online service Coursera with the support of the University of Toronto. I read the article and I was interested in this topic. I had never thought about a closer “relationship” with programming. I fought this course, it turned out to be entirely in English.

The resource provided an opportunity for two weeks to view and flip through the information for a closer acquaintance. After reading the course, I understood, that my knowledge of Delphi, C++ and Visual Basic would not help me in understanding most of this course because there the Python 3 programming language was used. I had never heard of such a language and had no idea how it worked. I started looking for Python programming courses, I “dug up” a huge number of websites and eventually returned to Coursera. There was only one problem, my knowledge of the English language hardly reached the level of A1.

Nevertheless, I started my studies, Russuian subtitles and Google Translate helped in the video. Half a year later, with a great difficulty, I completed the course "Programming for Everybody" at the University of Michigan.

On October 18, 2018, I went to study English. The more I immersed my self in learning the Python programming language, the more I needed to know English, because I had to search for information on the Internet, communicate on forums, ask questions and understand what was answered to me.

The result of my acquaintance with this programming language were several games (exist so far only in demo versions), a program for writing reports with the output of graphs and diagrams on JS scripts, and a website on Django. And my current level of the English language is B1. But there is no limit to perfection...
